 There shall be three classes of membership;

(1) Annual
(2) Honorary
(3) Life

 

 

In order for a person to be a member of aforesaid class, except Honorary Member, he must be at least 21 years of age and a United States Citizen, of good moral character etc. And has not been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude or served any jail sentence for a period of five years prior to his acceptance and is not a member of any organization that advocates the overthrow of the government; and shall be of Italian ancestry by either parent. However, persons not of Italian ancestry, but not exceeding 10% of the enrollment in good standing, may become members of this society; and that priority be given to the husbands of such members in good standing of the Woman's Auxiliary of this Society, provided they are in sympathy with the ideals and purposes of this Society. 

Annual

An annual member is one who pays the annual dues and such assessments and levies as may be imposed from time to time.

Lifemember

A life member shall be one who has been a member in good standing of this Society for twenty consecutive years and is not less than eighty years of age;

 

Honorary

Honorary membership may be conferred upon any person, who in his lifetime, has contributed in an extraordinary degree to the furtherance of the ideals and purposes of this Society. Such honorary membership shall be recommended by the Board of Trustees by a two thirds vote of said Boards and subsequently submitted to the membership at a meeting, upon due notice thereof in writting, and shall become effective upon approval by a two thirds vote of the members in good standing present such meeting.
